HMRC Online Services refers to the digital platform offered by HMRC which allows users to manage their tax affairs online. Users must create an account but once that is done, many tasks like filing tax returns, making payments and updating personal information can be completed using this service.

HMRC Online Services allow Self-employed individuals to submit a Self Assessment online. The deadline for submitting a Self Assessment online is 31st January the year following the Tax Year's end date.

It replaced Government Gateway in 2019 but it is still possible to login with your Government Gateway User ID.
