A P87 Claim Form is a document used in the United Kingdom to claim tax relief on Expenses. A P87 Claim Form can be used by individuals who will not be filing a Self Assessment and their expenses are no more than £2500 for the Tax Year.

The form can be submitted online or via the post to HMRC. HMRC might ask for evidence such as receipts to support the claim.

HMRC will refund individuals with a cheque if they are claiming for the previous tax year. If they are claiming for this tax year, HMRC will just alter your Tax Code so that you just pay less Income Tax instead.
